    Kristen has been a group exercise instructor since 1995 and a certified Personal Trainer since 1999. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology. In 2015 she became the Group Exercise/ Spinning Director. She teaches Pump, Zumba, Stretch & Recover Gentle Yoga, Spinning, Aquatics, and senior classes. In addition to group fitness, Kristen also works as a Personal Trainer at Chico Sports Club, where she specializes in exercise and aging.

    Description goes Melinda has been an instructor in the Kinesiology Department at Butte College for the past 22 years. She currently teaches Jazz Dance, Gentle Yoga, Yoga I and Pilates for Butte College. She has choreographed the musicals for Butte College for over 20 years and has been teaching dance in the community for the past 26 years. She currently teaches jazz dance, musical theatre, tap and ballet for a local studio in Chico. She has a BA from CSU-Chico in Theater Arts and is a certified personal trainer through AFAA. Melinda has been teaching Classic Sculpt, Pump Express and Sit-n- Be Fit at Chico Sports Club for almost 2 years.

Why Should I Hire A Personal Trainer?

How Does This Program Work?

You will first meet with a trainer for a fitness consultation to assess where you are NOW and where you want to BE. Then, during three 60-minute sessions, you will be in the gym working towards your goals with a personal trainer by your side. This promotion is valid for NEW members only!

What Does a One On One Consist Of?

You will be matched with an experienced Personal Trainer who will assess your abilities and review your goals. During this one-on-one meeting the trainer will get to know more about you and make appropriate recommendations for training options that will pave the way for your path to success.

All of our trainers are certified by a nationally accredited organization and the majority hold degrees in Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology.
