Alex is a fun-loving husband and father of three. He loves fitness because it has helped shape his life and has allowed him to help shape the lives of others. Alex enjoys working with people all over the fitness spectrum and appreciates the challenge of breaking through barriers and plateaus. He isn’t afraid to push you to become the best version of yourself.

Andre has been active his whole life: training and competing in wrestling, football, basketball, and track and field. In 2012, he began coaching at a local CrossFit gym and subsequently started competing in the sport of CrossFit. In 2016 and 2017 he competed in the CrossFit Games California Regionals and in 2017 earned the title of “31st Fittest Man in California.” Andre is a detail-oriented trainer who has worked with people of nearly all ages (8-65+) and fitness levels.

Bruno’s passion for fitness began as a competitive high jumper. It was through his dedicated practice that led to a blossoming interest in biomechanics. As a trainer, he instructs all of his clients on how to exercise and move with perfect form thus achieving a balance between mobility and stability. In his free time, Bruno enjoys meditation in the style of music: relaxing and playing Samba and Bossa Nova on his guitar.

Carolyn was raised in Chico and was competitive in various sports: gymnastics, track, volleyball, and obstacle course racing. Her passion for sports and movement, instilled by her parents and grandfather, Dr. Wayne Dawson, led her on the path to become a Coach and Personal Trainer. Carolyn enjoys helping people of all ages discover and improve upon a fit and healthy lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, gardening, and running with her dog.

Erin has over 30 years of experience as a classical ballerina and transitioned into the world of fitness in 2010 as a Zumba® teacher. From there she developed an interest in strength training, functional movement, and Pilates. She loves bringing these elements together in order to build strength, balance, coordination, and stability to her dance students, fitness groups, and clients.

As a mature trainer, Jean has a clear understanding of what older adults are going through physically, mentally, and socially. She loves helping clients gain strength, improve balance, and feel good about themselves. Jean first started training in 1985 in the Palo Alto area through a program she created called “Home Stretch” and has been training or teaching ever since!

Matt has been lifting consistently for the past years 10 years at Chico Sports Club. He enjoys working with clients of all ages and helping them to achieve their fitness goals. Matt believes that if you’re willing to work for it, there is no goal that his clients can’t reach. He owes his success in the gym to many years of proper lifting and nutrition.

Sarah’s passion for fitness drives her towards making it a special part of each of her clients’ lives. When she’s not training, you will often find her around the Club teaching group fitness classes including Pump, Pilates, and H.I.I.T Thursday. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling with her loving husband and three beautiful children.
