Position Title: Childcare Attendant
Supervisor: Childcare Lead/Operations Director
Objective: To assist in maintaining a safe, stimulating and fun environment within the Child Care Department while supervising and interacting with children of members and guests.
Level: Staff
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide supervision of children, activities, and events within the Childcare Department at all times as well as providing positive interactions with all children.
Adhere to disciplinary procedures as deemed appropriate by the Childcare Lead, Assistant Manager, or General Manager.
Maintain a clean working environment by performing daily/hourly cleaning tasks as assigned by the Childcare Lead, and adhering to the cleaning policies/procedures.
Utilize check in/out system, and accurately maintain reservation book.
Assist in the planning and development of children’s activities, special events, and holiday activities.
Facilitate daily/hourly/weekly planned art/movement classes as assigned by the Childcare Lead.
Facilitate children’s movement classes for specified classes during designated time of the time.
Provide written documentation concerning children conflicts or any uncontrollable behavior of children and any action taken.
Attend all mandatory meetings
Additional duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma. Currently pursuing a degree in Child Development or a related field and/or commensurate life experience.
Licenses & Certification: Current CPR Certification; Livescan Fingerprint Clearance
Knowledge & Abilities: Ability to work well with Children and their parents, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to deal with stressful situations appropriately is required. Must be able to lift 25 lbs., stand 1-3 hours, sit 1-2 hours, cardiovascular fitness 1-2 hours, extensive bending.
