Group Exercise Instructor
Chico Sports Club is looking for an energetic and committed Group Exercise Instructor primarily to substitute classes with the possibility of earning a permanent Instructor position. We are in search of instructors who can teach a variety of formats such as sculpting classes, senior aerobics classes, and aerobic dance classes. Instructors must have a current CPR certification and an accredited Group Exercise Instructor certification.
Our yoga team is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, authentic yoga instructor who lives their yoga. Experience in a variety of yoga styles from gentle, yin, and restorative to ashtanga vinyasa flow is preferred. Initially, the position will primarily consist of providing coverage for vacations, leave of absence support, and last-minute instructor absences. The ideal candidate will be motivated and have a flexible schedule with availability for last minute assignments. Prior yoga teaching experience is preferred.
Do you enjoy working with children and living a healthy way of life? We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our Childcare Department. Team members will assist in maintaining a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for our littlest members! You’ll assist with organizing kids programming, activities, and games for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 13 years. Primary job is to ensure the safety and security of all the children while in Childcare.
Front Desk Receptionist/Attendant
As a Front Desk Attendant you will act as Chico Sports Club’s first impression! Staff will greet and direct members and guests as they enter the gym in a friendly and professional manner. A successful candidate will not only have excellent communication skills, but must also be dependable, able to handle stressful situations, organized, self-directed, and good at multi-tasking. General knowledge of the fitness industry preferred.
Housekeeping/Janitorial Team Member
(Part-time or Full-time)
A team player, detail-oriented, a positive attitude, and good people skills are fundamental characteristics of the type of people we are seeking to join our housekeeping/janitorial staff. Housekeeping Team Members are responsible for thorough and outstanding cleanliness of the entire facility, with particular attention to the locker rooms and fitness floor. Staff will receive a daily list of specific duties in addition to their overall responsibilities (examples: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, trash removal, etc.).
