ALEX MORDWINOW

Alex is a fun-loving husband and father of two. He loves fitness because it has helped shape his life and has allowed him to help shape the lives of others. Alex enjoys working with people all over the fitness spectrum and appreciates the challenge of breaking through barriers and plateaus. He isn’t afraid to push you to become the best version of yourself.

BRUNO LAPOLLI

Bruno’s passion for fitness began as a competitive high jumper. It was through his dedicated practice that led to a blossoming interest in biomechanics. As a trainer, he instructs all of his clients on how to exercise and move with perfect form thus achieving a balance between mobility and stability. In his free time, Bruno enjoys meditation in the style of music: relaxing and playing Samba and Bossa Nova on his guitar.

CODY CROSBIE

Cody first became interested in fitness as a dual-sport high school athlete (football and basketball). These hobbies later developed into a true academic calling and he continues to broaden his education with each new client and their unique needs. Cody embraces nature and enjoys hiking, biking, and, snowboarding; but like any balanced trainer he understands the importance of rest and relaxation and has been known to occasionally binge watch Netflix.

EMILY SHEPPARD

Emily has been deeply involved in exercise all her life, beginning with a variety of sports and progressing into physique competitions. Learning how to properly lift and exercise from a personal trainer reshaped Emily’s lifestyle and propelled her towards helping others achieve their own fitness goals. In her free time, Emily competes in physique competitions and participates in outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, and running with her dogs.

ERIN DENIZ

Erin has over 30 years of experience as a classical ballerina and transitioned into the world of fitness in 2010 as a Zumba® teacher. From there she developed an interest in strength training, functional movement, and Pilates. She loves bringing these elements together in order to build strength, balance, coordination, and stability to her dance students, fitness groups, and clients.

JEAN DEWEY

As a mature trainer, Jean has a clear understanding of what older adults are going through physically, mentally, and socially. She loves helping clients gain strength, improve balance, and feel good about themselves. Jean first started training in 1985 in the Palo Alto area through a program she created called “Home Stretch” and has been training or teaching ever since!

KRISTEN FISHER

Kristen is a San Jose native who grew up as an active kid through dance. As a college student it was second nature for her to start teaching aerobics and she has been instructing ever since! Outside of the Club she enjoys gardening, continues to dance, and loves having an active role in her two kids’ extracurricular activities.

A Reno native, Lindsey first fell in love with fitness as a recreational volleyball player. Eventually, her passion and skills led her to compete for both Feather River College and the University of West Alabama. In her free time Lindsey continues to play volleyball and enjoys painting as an artistic outlet.

Matt has been lifting consistently for the past years 10 years at Chico Sports Club. He enjoys working with clients of all ages and helping them to achieve their fitness goals. Matt believes that if you’re willing to work for it, there is no goal that his clients can’t reach. He owes his success in the gym to many years of proper lifting and nutrition.

You will find her around the Club most likely teaching at the relaxing heated Therapy Pool or the beautiful dedicated Pilates Studio. It is her true desire to help you find the best option for your next step towards functional fitness.

Robert is a recent transplant from Oregon and is a true fitness fanatic. Having left his original career in the electronics industry he is now fully enjoying a healthy lifestyle. His goal as a trainer is to help others be self-sufficient by increasing functional muscle mass resulting in a long-term lifestyle change. In doing so, clients will not only be healthier, but will also have the independence to take their health and wellness to whatever level they see fit.

Sarah’s passion for fitness drives her towards making it a special part of each of her clients’ lives. When she’s not training, you will often find her around the Club teaching group fitness classes including Pump, FITMIX Tuesday, and H.I.I.T Thursday. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling with her loving husband and three beautiful children.
