At Chico Sports Club we believe in moving the body. CSC also believes that being present in the body is key to achieving wellness. We acknowledge that the mind, body, and spirit work together to find balance in one’s life. We offer a diverse group exercise program lead by qualitified and caring group fitness instructors. There is something for everyone! Members are free to choose from a variety of exciting and motivating formats. Group exerise classes will enhance your personal fitness program to obtain optimal health and wellness. We are an educated staff committed to bring to each member a safe, effective, personally challenging and extremely fun program. Here are just a few of the many inspiring classes that everyone is welcome to take and are included with your membership: Athletic Cardio BlastA power packed workout of continuous movement that combines cardio and strength exercises along with athletic style drills to enhance your overall fitness and endurance. Cardio Dance BlastDo you want to have fun while melting those pounds away? Come learn fun choreography to upbeat music and train your body like a dancer. Classic CardioThe classic classes are designed to meet the needs of the senior population, postnatal/prenatal women, or anyone looking for a gentle low impact form of aerobic exercise. Improve your cardiovascular fitness and increase your energy through this fun fitness class. Classic SculptImprove your bone density, muscle strength and tone with this weight bearing workout. This conditioning class utilizes hand weights, resistance bands and tubing to challenge the participants. Glutes & Abs30-minute format that concentrates solely on strengthening and toning the abdominal and gluteal muscles. KickboxingA high-powered cardio class using kicks, punches, and strength training techniques for optimal conditioning.Pilates MatworkA comprehensive, whole-body system of exercise designed to balance the body's muscles, increase core strength and improve flexibility. Pilates matwork helps develop long, lean muscles while improving balance and posture. PumpA high-energy body sculpting class using weights, bands, balls, steps, etc. Sit-N-Be-FitA class designed for participants who choose the assistance of a chair through their workout. Class works on cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility. SpinnningSimulate the outdoor cycling experience inside our dedicated Spinning Studio using state of the art fixed cam Schwinn stationary bikes. Great for cardiovascular endurance and heart rate training. H.I.T. (High Intensity Training)An intense cardio and strength workout combined with interval training, calisthenics, weight training, polymetrics and team drills to help you be all that you can be. StepLow-impact, high-intensity, fat burning workout utilizing the step. Super StepFor the more advanced stepper. Choreography is more intricate and the music may be a little faster than Basic Step. Basic Step & SculptBasic Step choreography is introduced at an appropriate level and speed for beginning steppers. Combined with muscle scuplting, this class delivers! Tai Chi ChuanPromote health, stamina, body awareness, balance, and self-defense. Students will learn Fast Tai Chi, Tuishou (push hands), and DaLu (four corners). ZumbaZumba is a fusion of Latin and International music and dance that creates a dynamic and exciting fitness system. Dance your way fit with this fun and effective workout. |
